Message from the president
It was shortly after the war that my father, who was my predecessor, came to Kagoshima alone from Shizuoka, a place famous for tea.
Using high-quality tea grown in the rich natural environment of Minamikyushu City (Ei Town, Kawanabe Town, Chiran Town) as raw material, we have selected tea leaves carefully and continued to make tea with a manufacturing method that is particular about the fragrance that determines the flavor of tea.
We provide Chiran tea with an elegant, pleasant scent and a mellow taste to everyone in Japan through OEM product development that meets customer needs and our own brand, “Chiran Ichibanyama Farm.”
We want you to drink tea that touches the Japanese spirit every day and to choose it as a gift that conveys your feelings to your loved ones. We will continue to strive to make high-quality tea with the same feelings we have had from the time of our founding.
Management philosophy
We aim to pursue the physical and mental well-being of all employees. Our goal is for our president, employees, and part-time workers to all work together to improve the sales and profits of the company. We promise to give workers who display above-average performance increased benefits such as monthly or hourly wage increases.
Behavioral guidelines
- Maximize sales and minimize expenses. Sales sell at the highest price that customers are satisfied with. Manufacturing sites continue to devise ways to improve yields and reduce costs on a daily basis.
- We will never forget the founding spirit of Ohashi Seicha: “Lead by example.” Do things at the forefront of people and set an example. Carry out a hands-on approach.
HACCP initiatives
HACCP introduction declaration
Ohashi Seicha Co., Ltd. declares that it will introduce the HACCP system at our factory from June 1, 2007.
To embody the management philosophy of “helping to inherit Japanese culture through the manufacture and sale of Japanese tea,” and so that as many consumers as possible can drink Japanese tea with peace of mind, we will introduce the HACCP system at our factory. All employees pledge to do their utmost to build the HACCP system.
